Mood: 70% a great place where you will get confused what to try and what do want to eat!Food: 75% it wasn’t our first time trying this place and we really like it. We used to bring from there some delicious pain au lait, croissants and cakes. This time we tried their fried and baked kabbet laktin which were super duper tasty and they are generous with their portions. Service: 75% they are friendly.
Horrible!! Dirty and the smell inside stinks. Never again! Their croissant is horrible. It has taste of old butter. And the kitchen inside is discusting.
The famous cooking school of chef Ramzi with an outlet where people can dine in, or takeaway fresh tasty food. Tried their food on multiple occasions: simply amazing, they have 4 plats du jour options everyday that include fish, meat and vegetarian options. You can also buy from there freshly baked bread and viennoiseries, a selection of tasty salads and cakes. So in summary a venue containing a restaurant, a bakery and a patisserie. The service is professional and attentive. The prices are very low relative to quality, freshness and taste served. The only negative thing is that they dont open to late hours for dinner. Highly recommended.
I really appreciate the long-time initiative and commitment of Al Kafaat to manage a hospitality business with its students. In this place, the service and the food are done by Al Kafaat hotel school students. It has buffet service, packed food, bakery, pastry and grocery items as well. Prices are fair and the variety is wide. One thing I would like to point at is, even though the staff is made of students, the management of the place must put red lines for those students on their appearance especially! Some of them are just not clean, not well groomed and clearly not ready to serve. I tried the cheese croissant and I think it’s average if not less however the portion is big and the price is less so it’s ok. I recommend this place for families on holidays or weekends, or even for groups of friends to support these students and contribute to them indirectly in learning and becoming experts in the field.
This is not simply a restaurant but an oulet for hospitality and culinary art school. So you are tasting the masterpiece of the artists at work. I highly recomend to pass by in the morning and grab some hot croissant (i personally like their cheese one) and start your day with some good bakes.
