The famous 1966 la Gargote up in Broumana by mr. Joe Abi Saab. I love this place for its authenticity. La soupe à l’oignon, l’escalope monseigneur they will take you back to the 20th century specifically 1966. Enjoy the place:)
one of the best places in Lebanon worth going to the service is excellent the steak is to die fordefinitely highly recommended from our sidevery nice romantic place for couples , cozy place
The food is awful, everything tasted cheap and not fresh. The whole 1966 vibe is overrated. Don’t waste your gas money driving up here. There are better steak places than this. Also the dessert was embarrassing.
Fantastic ambiance, very cozy and perfect for couples. Delicious food, perfect price-quality ratio. This place is a must. I strongly recommend it!
Good atmosphere good service good wine,Very romantic for couples and families, the manager follows up very well and is very friendly, just don’t order the seasonal salad

La Gargote is located in a calm street, far from Broumana Square & Broumana Villa. This French Bistrot has been opened for 52 years now and we loved the vintage set-up and the vibe it gave to the beautiful place, not to mention the music that completed this 60s experience. We ordered:*Salade Cocktail (very simple, good taste)*2 Entrecote de Boeuf (delicious, we advise you to order it medium well!!) * 1/2 bottle of wine that was good. However, we noticed that the waiters were stalking & laughing at us from far, which we found quite disrespectful from their behalf. But anyways, this restaurant is perfect for a cozy rainy night far from the city! Recommended!
