We reserved last minute at la girouette on valentines day.The whole experience was not as i expected for a romantic diner:first two starters were not as we expected after the captain waiter suggested a plater not mentioned on the menu and we agreed upon his excitement, plus there were in the two dishes the red pepper everywhere, crushing these ingredients does not taste good & changes the after taste!As for the main course, risotto mushroom was tasteless and very simple for a french main courseBut i enjoyed my steak medium with its delicious sauce and french friesAlso we ordered chateau wardy cabernet sauvignon 2013 mentioned on the menu, but we got 2012 instead because they do not have it!At least i enjoyed the music that night and the romantic spirit between all couples. To sum it in few words: Fine dining experience in a cosy restaurant ideal for romantic dates. The place is beautifully decorated, I loved the setting and eating while hearing love songs, which make it perfect for couples. Attentive staff and good service. Quality ingredients and delicious meals. Extensive list of wine. Generous portions. We had the goat cheese salad which I definitely recommend. Grilled salmon was also juicy and tasty.
Such a nice and romantic place especially in winter!!
Very disappointing. Lesson learned, never go there for lunch. Food was terrible , steaks overcooked , pasta half frozen and to top it off, the worst attitude I’ve ever seen by the manager. Never again.
A very cozy and warm place. Great ambiance to have dinner or even a professional business lunch. Salmon platter is really good. The entertainment is very good and enjoyable. Prices are affordable
What an amazing ambience, so hyper and entertaining. The staff were so nice and friendly, and fast service, kind and professional. The food was amazing, very delicious and tasty. I totally recommend it.
La Girouette is one of the coziest restaurants in Broumana! The food is simple yet delicious! Every Thursday they serve Fondue and Moules et Frites. The portions are quite generous, something keep to in mind while ordering.
