Cheese is nice golden and smells good. However, the zaatar mix is average, would have loved it a bit more dense and oily, its a bit dry. The dough is good but as well a bit dry.
While in Maraach, passed by this bakery which seemed different from all other shops there, it’s clean and attracted me to go and visit it. The lahme b aajin and saroukh jebne are both amazing. I tried this bakery a very long time ago and hope to visit it again whenever I’m there.
A small yet very vibrant lebanese bakery in the heart of Burj Hammoud and on the very busy Maraash street. Right when you think your euphorically high on the fragrance of the many spice shops in that street, you are surprised with another odor. The smell of those mana2ish just fills the neighborhood. The bakery is buzzing with life and there is always a crowd. Their la7m b3ajin is very good and is the traditional armenian seasoning. The Zaatar w banadoora w basal man2oushe is to die for and so is the jibne ma3 ribb l 7ar. I’d tell you to keep an eye for it if you are ever in that area, but trust me, your nose will do that for you. Recommended#TheFoodiesGuild azizzada.wordpress.com
