Clean and high quality cakes for sure. But its all about the final taste. It lacks texture and flavors. Cakes are more sophisticated than needed. Too esthetic. Small in size and not too sexy to the eye. Someone should enjoy and eclair chocolat when eating it and devour it with passion and guilt!
Al Mandaloun Patisserie Dbaye. My own personal opinion, I believe that their work is full of creativity and taste. Especially the aish al saraya , the halewe tart and the mont blanc.
He who hasn’t tasted galette des rois with chocolate stuffing has missed out big time. Hurry up and get one, it’s only available till end of January.
I like to buy bread from this place when I happen to be in the region as it is really good. I also tried their patisserie several times. The place is cute and clean, the cakes are well presented but I would definitely expect a better taste from such a desert parlor category.

My review is based on a take away experience. So it’s Christmas time and they choose al mandaloun patisserie. We had :- bûche de noel praliné : a very light and tasty bûche, very well presented. – gateau aux marrons : a must try! The cake is sooo yummy! It deserves a 5/5. Overall the cakes are really amazing and very well presented. But they need to work on their prices even if they serve a great quality.
