Passing to see my friend’s sister at Fanar Lebanese University She had a break between her classes and suggested we grab a quick bite at this furn 1 min away Small area for the furn but has seating availableIt’s very clean and suitable for the students, the owners are very humble smiling Service is fast even when it’s packed with students who want to rush back to class Seems the owners know them well and know what the like Best thing is, they prepare as you order, so it’s a freshly baked mankoushi The cheese, super cheesy generous and well baked, the taste, u want more The dough very easy on the stomach , thin, crisped at the edgesCheese and ham is of great as well, the quality of the ham is good *no weird taste* and isn’t one of those low quality that drips water when u bake it with the most annoying smell, on the contrary, drizzle mayo around and enjoy a well baked full of flavor cheese and ham Cocktail little zaatar, they cut the mankoushi by slices, little zaatar requested, place the slices over each other and enjoy a no heartburn mixed flavors But u definitely have to try the cheese Extremely affordable
One of the best furns ! The owners are really friendly and welcoming. The place is very clean and neat. Their jebneh manakish are to die for! The dough is thin but not too crispy which i really like and they are very generous with the cheese. Their jebneh w harr is yummyyyy and they mix the ingredients together they don’t add the harr after cooking which really adds in taste. I love this place it has outdoor and indoor seatings and the latter is very convenient to chill or study . Definitely recommend!
Quite possibly the best bakery in Lebanon, or at least the best we’ve ever tasted! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, the place is small and clean with most of their customers being Lebanese University students (and how lucky they are to have such an amazing bakery directly in front of their university). The food is undoubtedly the highlight of this bakery, everything is baked fresh right after you make your order, the taste is amazing and the freshly baked dough is just mouthwatering. We usually order the ‘Cocktail’ mankouche (Half Zaatar Half Cheese) and the spicy cheese mankouche (its name is ‘Jebne w Harr w Basal’), both are perfect, and we always opt for adding extra chilli on the Spicy Cheese mankouche!Overall we really enjoy our visits to this bakery, to the point that we really think that it’s the best bakery in Lebanon, period.
The seating is amazing and a really nice and quiet place to hang out and relax. The owners are super friendly and very generous. I liked their cheese man2oushe, my friend ordered the cheese and 7ar and found it to be average.
The best breakfast in town :)Kishk and cheese with hot sauce very delicious.Very friendly peopleVery convenient for Lebanese university students
