The 2 stars of this place are the baristas and the mood. I visited this coffee place twice and,well, it was not what I wished for: the mocha latte is tasteless, too watery, texture is out of sight and the coffee aroma is very light. Taste nothing like mocha. Coffee? Unpresent. The charcoal latte, their speciality, is not to my taste as well. Distasteful, sloppy and too sweet. Coffee? Unpresent. The lavender cookie was fine nothing special. Overall experience was fine, you can try this place, at least in weekdays afternoon it is very calm and peaceful, but they really have to work more on how they make their coffee.
Given the amount of coffee shops in the area, I always tend to look at what makes a coffee shop special, and I can assure you that Nomadic has a lot of potential.The place is located in Jal El Dib, not very easy to find since it is not on the main road.It is nicely decorated with different seating modalities.There is a quiet room for people who wish to study, and that same room is equipped for meetings.I tried their Macha Latte, Charcoal Latte and Caramel Coffee. All of them were delicious.The Charcoal Latte is a specialty of theirs, a must try drink. I have never tasted like it before, it has a weird taste when you first sip it, but is the good kind of weird.I will definitely be coming back.
