We had a special event to attend at Sahriye. The place is big and spacious, the bar is nice although the service needs major improvement. One waiter serving the whole restaurant, a bartender who is not very attentive and the dj was outsourced so not sure about the local dj of the place. The food was good although it took forever to reach our tables.

Friends had been insisting that we visit the place and finally on my last visit to Saida we all went to Sahriye. It was a little empty on a Saturday night till about 10pm but that was due to us being the first day of Ramadan. As time passes by, more people came in and by 11, we were already all enthralled with the enchanting oud melodies and songs. We already had had dinner in Beirut and we only ordered drinks. My only take on the restaurant was that, being allergic to smoke, I had to frequently go out to take a breath of fresh air before going back in. All in all a positive experience that I would repeat again.
Friendly staff and environment, clean and delicious cuisine and affordable prices, drinks are well prepared and handled with affordable prices also.
