We went there on a saturday night and we had so much fun. The music was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was very good. Portion/price is fair. We will definitely try it again.
Fellow males who would want to have any meal with a fellow male, 46 has rules and regulations against that; suddenly we’re in the gulf, or 1946 maybe?!Yesterday, at 10 pm, I arrived with a fellow male friend from Beirut to show him, 46, a great restaurant which I’ve had plenty of great meals at, and which has been recently refurbished by a dear friend and fellow designer. A middle aged man, in a grey knit sweater, with a full head of graying hair, whom I assume is the host, and not part of the waiting staff (since he wasn’t in the usual black waistcoat/white shirt uniform, greets us. I ask if the kitchen is still open. Host: how many people are you?Me: just us two. Host: sorry, we don’t allow two males without a female.Me: that’s a really horrible thing to say. I don’t understand.Host: yes, but sorry, those are the rules.Me: are you serious? Seriously, that a horrible thing to say to anyone.Host: yes, but sorry those are the rules.We left. It is beyond my understanding to see an institution like yours do something like that. I am more than happy to notify all my male friends of your rules as to spare your clientele the embarrassment and yours of course.
Nice cosy and pleasant restaurant.. the view over the sea is wide and calming .. the food is varied and tasty .. the seafood is exquisite and elegantly served .. the other plates are refined..I recommend this restautant for a tranquil and peaceful meal.
