A place with countless options for Arabic sweets. Always crowded and serving fresh sweets. Of my favorites is “shmaysie”, it is a soft sweet sugar dough filled with ashta and covered with powdered sugar; a must try when in Tripoli! Recommended!
This place is all about authenticity when it comes to Lebanese pastry industry. It might not be very well known to people coming from outside Tripoli and Northern Lebanon in general but it’s one of the locals favorites. It has been producing delicacies for over 140 years. The house’s special product is Halawat al Chmeyceh with achta. An amazing creation that will make you keep coming back for sure.
