Lebanese street food is awesome! And el dabboussi are probably the best moghrabye i’ve ever had! It’s a simple sandwich with fried moghrabye and some pickles. Nothing special about it except maybe that the moghrabye tastes heavenly, and just for 2 lebanese pounds!! This place is probably the embodiement of the tripolitan street food ideologies!
Situated on the busy corner of a small street in Tripoli, this place will give you a hard time finding a parking space, but it is definitely worth the effort. 2,000 LL for a big, delicious, filling yet simple sandwich of fried moghrabieh with just some pickles and guindilla peppers. Lebanese street food at its best! And the kaake ma3jou2a is a whole other level of awesome, seriously! Contrary to its name, its ingredients are super simple and minimalistic : sugar, cheese and semolina. A delight! And much lighter than knefeh. Staff is very friendly and talkative to a certain pleasant extent, but the place in itself needs a bit more improvement in hygiene (not the food handling) and renovation. #men3ade
