Rokka is a place I’ve only started hearing about just a few months ago, and after trying it, I fully regretted not knowing about this place way before now. In short, this place offers the best saj I’ve ever had, and not only that, but they serve so many different and beautiful varieties to mix and match in the saj they make. I found myself one late morning making my way to Rokka, and I had in my mind that I wanted to try three different saj varieties in order to see what they would shape up to be like. So I went for the simple and basic “Saj with Cheese” just to see what it would taste like in it’s simplest form. I also wanted to try the “Cheese with Sour Cream & Onion Pringles”, and I went for the “Fajita” as well as I was mostly curious to try this one out of the three. While I was waiting for my orders to be prepared, I noticed how simple yet elegant this place looks. To the left of where the cook works, there are a bunch of seats nicely spread and extending to the inside of the shop. And where the cook works, he has all his ingredients in containers ready for his reach, and he has a bunch of Pringles placed next to each other on top. There is also a convex metal saj maker with a grill right next to it to prepare the meat. It’s just a nice and thought out simple design. My orders barely took 5 minutes to be prepared and I only had to pay 6,500 L.L. to enjoy them. When I opened them up, the smell was terrific and rich, and I started off by wanting to taste one piece of each kind. The cheese tasted wonderful, but the cheese and Pringles tasted even better. The real deal though has to be the fajita though. I’ve never had anything like it and it just tasted wonderful along with the sauces the cook used. And with all three devoured, I was able to feel satisfied up until dinner, I had a very late lunch that day because of what I ate and I was more than satisfied with that. Overall, Rokka will provide you with a great variety to choose from, the prices are amazing and the taste is out of this world. What I love most is that this place could be for breakfast, lunch and dinner and there is a reason for it being this successful around town, and thats because of its great saj bread. Rokka is HIGHLY recommended to try! Thanks to anyone who read this!
