Nested in the old souk of Tyre, eating foul is a major must-do whenever ur there. We chose this place over Mazraani due to its location. Service and hygiene are acceptable. Foul taste was different from what we are used to, excessively mashed and lacks garlic and lemon taste, which made it somehow tasteless. Fatteh with meat was good. Don’t forget to ask for their home made chilli sauce if u went there.
Today we tried Baroud (Foul and Hommos) restaurant in Tyre old souk. When you arrive to Baroud, you can read فوال الزعماء و زعيم الفوالين . He is indeed Za3im el fouwalin. We tried the Hommos, Foul, Mousabaha and Balila, really fantastic so tasty and delecious with the vegetables and the famous bread. Highly recommended.
