We went on a relatively busy day (during Eid). Despite how busy the place was, it was understaffed and a lot of our orders were missed. Some of the food took a very long time to make it to the table (one of the dishes took over 45 minutes). Although the food was passable, some of it was a bit cold (like the mixed grill platter).
It took them a century to get the arguile. And for the food taste it is less thank average. The food service is not so fast. Their ambience is very classy but i wish they gave as much attention to their food
Went for a small bite and desserts with my friends. Ordered nachos, roast beef sandwich, as for desserts chocolate fondant, chocolate mousse, nutella crepe, Bahamas cake, strawberry tart, and couple of cold drinks, and shisha. The portions are excellent, generous and presentable. Affordable and beautifully decorated outside area, with ambient lights on the lake view. The service was good, only one drawback is not everything on the menu was available. Recommended place to visit.
I am so happy that I have found this place in Beqaa; with elegant furniture, professional staff and great food. To begin with, the pizza crust was crunchy and thin; I assume it was wooden-baked. The highlight of the chicken pesto platter was the super creamy pesto sauce- definitely specialty of theirs. The fries were crispy, seasoned, non-oily and served hot along with cheddar cheese and ketchup dips. The cheese balls, burgers and desserts were good as well. The prices are fair and the portion size is large, verily recommended!
Bekaa is mostly famous for its fine cuisine and culture. We decided to try cadmus restaurant this time.We reserved a table but because of some misunderstandings we ended up having to wait to get a new one.The setting was the nicest thing about is place. We ordered a full mezza formula but the service was very slow (more than 45min).The food was acceptable but we didn’t enjoy it as much because of the small amount of mezza appetizers plus the fact that the dessert was only pieces of eclairs instead of a variety of cakes and fruits as told before.Nice location, average food, bad service.Unsatisfactory experience.
Facing amaleen, cadmus has to upgrade it’s food. Friendly staff, somehow slow service, food is good but nothing is special about it, prices are reasonable. Not worth coming from Beirut to cadmus.
Good place that we enjoyed. Lovely place with an inviting ambience and nice view by the lake. Friendly staff and quick service. They have w beautiful presentation of food. We ordered some mezza and grills and they were good but food can be improved.
