My worst cafe experience not only in zahle but also at the whole country, there is many cafes in town with very good food. We have ordered machawi platters, beef is super bad and raw same for chicken. Never visit this place there is many better places in town
Didn’t like the calamari but the potato wedges and chicken strips were good.
The place looks good. Sitting there is nice and comfortable. But the staff really don’t know their menu.We visited ward twice and in both times we faced problems.First time we ordered a chicken burger and a chicken sandwich which usually comes with eggs. We only asked for this sandwich to be eggless. The burger was very tasty the chicken so delicious. However the sandwich came with eggs. We asked for an other eggless one and they made it again with eggs!Still we gave the place an other chance and ordered today a mixed grilled seafood platter, the menu said it contains salmon. The plate was without salmon and in my opinion it is overcharged it does not deserve 25000. On top of that when we asked the waiter about the salmon he denied that the plate contains salmon so this proves that neither the waiter and neither the chef know the menu or there is just no sincerity.
Spicy chicken filet is not delicious at all. You can try the tornado steak it is kinda better.
The food presentation and portion size were good. However, I did not like the food at all – the eggs and chicken mainly. They tasted weird and I could not continue eating.
This is the second time that we visit Ward and I am yet to be impressed. We have ordered so far the salmon club sandwich, chicken quesedilla, mexican chicken shawarma and the escalope. The sandwiches were not great, the salmon club sandwich was not satisfying, the quesedilla had an overwhelming lemony taste, and the mexican shawarma was too garlicy and just underwhelming. The escalope was good however and so are the wedges and shisha.
