The concept of Cuisine Bistronomique is quite new for Northern and Central Europe and "La Moutarde" is apparently the first Bistronomic restaurant in Baltic Countries. The word "Bistronomique" appeared some 11 years ago during The Week of Fooding 2003 event in France, putting together two contradictory French words "Bistrot" and "Gastronomique". From that moment , the Bistronomy became one of the important modern cuisine trends in the World. Since all "Bistronomique" movement is that the top level International Chefs (i.E. From Michelin starred restaurants or graduated from world best gastronomic schools) are cooking great food in simple surroundings and presentation for reasonable price, La Moutarde is sticking to this concept!
