GYVAs Planeta is located in the premises of Skalvija Cinema Centre and is a part of this historic place. Started together with the "Planeta" movie theater in the year 1963 a small theater cafe grew together with famous artists as neighbours, with low budget movies, shown in their original language, that sometimes appeared as real masterpieces. In autumn of 2013, after 50 years of history (Soviet occupation, Baltic way, Restoration of Independence, joining European Union...) Planeta was opened again with a new design made by a rising interior design star Ain Bunikyt. Inspired by the example of the first Lithuania's vegan restaurant "GYVAS baras", in January of 2016 Cafe Planeta became 100% VEGAN, ready to serve daily meals, starters, tasty sandwiches, vegan muffins, coffee and tea - one of just few vegan restaurants in Vilnius, Lithuania. Let's meet in a new vegan Planet!
