From one of my favourite restaurants in Lilongwe – obviously a change of hands, style, & menu. It was empty when we looked inat 7pm so took that as an omen and went elsewhere.
The location in the four seasons center has been taken over by a Nepalese restaurant, KatManDoo, that was previously elsewhere in the same complex. They continue to offer some of the grills as well as curries, sushi, etc.
Was spending one night in Lilongwe and was advised to go here for dinner. Excellent steak with peppersauce and fries, simple but perfect quality. Price/quality in line. Nice setting in a tropical garden. Service also good.
We used to love coming to Buchannons for a beer- we were certain they were the coldest in town! Enjoyed their onion rings but we always felt a bit suspect after eating a proper meal. Kept coming back for the bar tho! ?
