A unique concept with regards to the way that the for is served. The ambience is nice and the interiors are pretty rad. The service is great, they actually have a person who assists you with the shelling of the seafood. The sauce was spicy and mouth watering. The meal by itself was a different experience but I think the taste could be a lot better.
Lives up to the hype. Fresh seafood and delicious sauce- especially Shell Bang! Enough kick in spiciness and not overpowering the sweetness from the seafood. Order the sausages and corn. The onion rings side was ok. Skip the garlic bread and cajun fries sides. A little pricey but a fun meal place for the family. Use your hands to eat and leave your mark before you leave.
This is my first visit in Shell Out G-Village outlet with my wife & she is a big fan of Baby Octopus with the Shell Bang sauce. In the past we had a great service at Shell Out – Dataran Sunway which gave us the confident to hit this outlet. Unfortunately for 2 of us when we ordered the Combo B, the waiter mentioned the unavailability of Crawafish which made us decide to order seafood separately from the menu. While we were waiting for the foods to be served we observed and got amazed by the great ambiance of the restaurant. However i noticed a strange thing that the waiters are giving priorities to the big group of people coming with friends and family. For any assistance we have to waive our hands to the waiter for our service since no one was nearby our table. This was a bit disappointing and we didn’t see under staff that particular night. For the record i visited on 29 July 2017. I am not from the FNB industry but at least i have some little knowledge about customer service and on that point its a FAIL. I felt the service needs to improvise on the table compared to the others. The Host who’s keeping track of reservations and waiting lines are doing a fantastic job. The greeting was warm and as a customer we felt prioritized.Atmosphere: 9/10Service: 6/10Food: 8/10
