I’ve always found the J&R at Jln Dungun to be the best outlet. But since it’s closed, I reckon this is the next best. Yes it really does live up to it’s Gastropub title, as it is mainly a watering hole that happens to serve decent food. The sausages are pretty good, as are the salads. Steaks are okay, but the cuts are not good, and the person cooking it can’t gauge how it’s cooked. So even a well done could very well be pink in the middle. Nevertheless, it’s one of my fave places to visit, partly due to the location
