Take a step back to imperial China and marvel at its opulence and majesty. Just like a page out of a history book, Paradise Dynasty captures the finer points of bygone eras in contemporary styles which boast a design concept with China dynasty and history influences. The dark wood walls with yellow wall-panelled lights provide mystique and cosiness.
Excellent dumplings both steamed and fried. Really authentic Shanghai cuisine. Also enjoyed the Shanghai fried rice and long beans and mince pork. Good efficient service.
The neigbourhood xiao long bao place that my family frequentsGood: was pleasantly impressed with the cold tofu with century egg and the radish puffs. Xiao long baos on par today and consistent as usual. Not so good: scrambled eggs with fish and scallop was particularly watery
If you reek money (as you do if you’re in the area) you’ll love this place.Rich Tai Tai’s lepak spot. The McDonald’s of the empty nesters who have no where else to go.The food is decent and the fried Shanghai noodles is bomb!Worth going again with your parents, if you are a millennial wanting to prove to your parents that you made it. Bring them here.
We came for lunch. Ordered dim sum as well as dishes. The xiao long bao was delicious. The Dan Dan mee was good as well however the noodles was slightly overcooked. Nonetheless fantastic food and definitely one of the better restaurants.
