If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place to be 🙂 the chili paneer n chicken starters are a must try. The main course and breads are good too. Great presentation and ambience!!
Sagar is one of the best Indian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The food is amazing and is closest to what you can get in New Delhi. Staff is very friendly and ambience is nice. They can probably increase a portion little bit for dishes like Dal Makhani. I have already been here multiple times with my Western friends too and they were wowed by chicken dishes here. If you have not tried here do give it a shot.
Well this place is the best fine dining place i have seen in kl for north indian food. Food quality and taste is superb and yes it may not be the same as india but its quiet close. We have been there twice in a week and they serve buffet in lunch . The lunch buffet is great and exaustive. We have had alacarte as well as buffet and both were great. We ordered butter chicken , paneer kulcha , chicken karahi etc
Good food and good time meet here. Came here on office dinner and the staff tried to provide the best service. The vegetable platter is a disaster with soya chunks the size of tennis balls with almost no vegetables and hardly any paneer. The service time is pretty long given that we were a group of 18 and the restaurant was almost full. They served is papad during wth the waiting on the table which was devoured in no time with the kind of hunger pangs we were in. We moved to main course with paneer butter masala and palak paneer both of which were made to perfection. The Indian bread basket was good with some rotis being more soft than others. Margarita in the end was chilled and is of very good quality. I would love to this plan again. This place is definitely date worthy and serves authentic Indian cuisine.
