This restaurant is as old school as it gets. perks: free soup and fruits, so you feel like you get a complete dinner, with starters and dessert. While their famous dish is the Ying Yong pork, I found the mayonaise fairly overwhelming. The marmite pork and sweet and sour pork was much better! Tofu claypot dish was very generous in terms of portions. We ordered 4 dishes and the dinner came up to rm70! Will return, hopefully when mrt construction is complete
1 of the oldest Chinese restaurant in jalan Ipoh. There have few famous dish like sweet & sour pork, basil steam fish, teow chew style steam fish, Guangxi chicken, roast chicken, Asam steam fish, spinach soup. It’s an old restaurant where old folks of Jalan Ipoh like. Food is good but you have to bare with the boss that keep shouting at the staffs to expedite their works. >.
