A good place to eat if u r carving for Penang street food at hawker price! The asam laksa & white curry Mee is rich in taste. For curry Mee, u can order without the pork blood jelly. For asam laksa, the fish taste great & even better with more prawn gravy. The fried kuey teow is nice also. Tea & coffee are ok to drink. Kids like the pork noodle soup over there. Not that salty & with clear soup
Restaurant Penang Corner is one of a hidden gem that serve Penang hawker food in Kepong. Their taste is slightly different as I believe their cooking method is more towards Penang Mainland version. However they still offer great selection as most of the operator are from Penang. This might look like a hawker center but its a table ordering system. Just find a  place and 1 auntie or uncle that is responsible taking order will be with you to take order.
Just a quick update to let you guys know that Penang Corner has shifted to a larger stall a few doors away from their previous location. With the extra space, it’s more like a mini food court now and they could accommodate more stalls in it too. So since last week, besides their usual offerings you can also enjoy ABC and Char Koay Teow here as well. At night, another operator takes over and sells Penang style fried noodles.
This was my third time here and I am glad to say the quality has been consistent. Overall, the authenticity of taste is there and what matters most, else I wouldn’t have returned. But lets be real here, it’s not the perfect 10/10 curry mee. There are certain things they could improve on such as the chilli paste, which could use a stronger dose of dried shrimps (the Lorong Seratus Tahun chain got this right).
