The interior design of Nook looks elegant and futuristic. The place is huge and it would be a perfect place for a gathering or any kind of celebration. Just make sure to call them first and make reservation. The food is just okay for me, nothing extraordinary. They did however give us 2 complimentary bowls of mushroom/chicken soup, which was quite nice.
We had a naked burger and some chicken rice with prawns and fish chips.. it was too right and loved everything about this place. The ambience was great and I think reservations are important to suit your best place.
Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur and adjacent to the KL Sentral (KL Transportation Hub), Nook will be the best place to dine in if you are looking for the international buffet selectionThe choice of food is awesome and the service personnel (talent) are friendly
I was staying at the Aloft and saw they were offering 50% off the dinner buffet for hotel guests. That sounded like too good a deal to knock back with the weekend “sea-meat” special on offer. Normal price, 120 ringgit so only 60 ringgit. I was a little surprised at how limited the range of food was. The range of cold seafood comprised some prawns, mussels, a few bugs and some boiled squid. They were passably fresh but I couldn’t get over how few there were. I only took four prawns as I didn’t want to be seen to be taking too many of what was there. If you think I am exaggerating, check out my photo of the seafood bar. The cooked food was disappointing. With the exception of the satay, there wasn’t a dish I thought was good. The less I say the better. I think the dish that was the most disappointing and that summed up the meal was the Malay kuih. The glutinous rice from the kuih salat tasted completely flat. I’m not at all sure it wasn’t just boiled in water as I tasted no coconut and it was unseasoned. I absolutely refuse to believe that was cooked by a qualified chef. My first one star rating on Zomato.
