Biryani served in Medium size Claypot should be sufficient for one person.Served with Papad and Raita.Raita is served in small bowl but they gave me one more bowl when I asked for it.Though the biryani had all the essential spices a north Indian seek for in Biryani but something was missing in terms of flavour. But if you are new here in KL then you should give a try.You will like the aroma of Biryani served in HOT claypot.
As a student I thought the location was excellent because it’s right next to the Brickfields Asia College Library. The Lassi was tasty and the meal was rather fulfilling (I ordered the Banana Leaf Rice with Briyani Rice). The price of the meals themselves weren’t too expensive too. However I found the Dahl to be lacking in taste, as well as the Rasam. Btw, Rasam costs 0.60 here upon request, even though all the restaurants I’ve been to don’t charge you for it :/I was hoping they would give other curries too(just the curry, without the meat) but turns out it was just Dahl. I’m not sure if I could’ve asked for them, but seeing as how the Rasam turned out, they may charge you for that too.
Located in Brickfields district of Little India is Legend claypot briyani.I love a good biryani or as we call it in S Africa a breyani,I was interested in claypot version as never tasted that style before.Rice was really aromatic, chicken a bit dry but service was a bit slow,it took them while to actually bring me a menu but everything went quickly after that.A popular eatery so book ahead
Taste was not bad, nothing to hype about. Boring choices of dish (chicken/meat etc), not worth the money of 20ish per bowl (actually small portion of biryani rice)
Worst choice I have made so far in KL. We ordered biryani which costs around RM22. When I opened the package I was surprised looking at quantity one bowl of rice, some chicken pieces and an egg.. WOW I need to order something for lunch again.
