My first experience of Yong Tau Foo, didn’t see this coming for sure! I went there for lunch one day with a friend, who proudly declared that I could take any of everything they had to offer and the price would be just the same. Thanks to this incorrect piece of information, I loaded my plate with all kinds of meats and sausages and tofu and fish and rice noodles and reached the counter to pay a hefty amount for a massive lunch. They charge you for as much as you load on your plate, and my bill was around 28 MYR. Not the outlet’s problem of course, I had taken enough food for at least two people. It was delicious though, and if I hadn’t had to work right after lunch, I would have taken my time to devour every single bit of it.
