This is my best discovery during my last trip to Kuala Lumpur. The dishes at Grandmama’s are prepared the traditional way so if you are curious about Malaysian food, you have to visit this restaurant. A bit expensive though but serving is generous and even good for sharing. I super love the fried chicken which was perfectly crisp and juicy on the inside. Very flavorful also. Excited to dine again soon!

Its a place with very delicious food and subtle and great ambiance. The food quality was awesome and service was also quite fast. The things we ordered were:1) Chow Kueh Teow2) Fried Mee Mama’s3) Kampung Fried Rice4) StrongBow Apple Coder Beer
I ordered the nasi ayam istimewa and to be honest, the picture didn’t look that appetising but I decided to give it a go anyway. Oh my God, the skin on the chicken was so crispy, the Asam prawns delicious and shredded rendang was tasty. I was far beyond satisfied with my meal. Had the watermelon and lychee shake and it just topped it off. Recommended!
Went to the one at KLIA & I must admit to having one of the best Hakka fried rice and also loved the flat rice noodles. The service was alright but the food made up for it.
