The Ippudo ramen is very good – thin & firm with just the right amount of chewiness, not soggy. The soup bases are also well balanced, from spicy to milky, very tasty & the pork pieces melt in your mouth. The gyoza are so delicately fried that it is soft & smooth in texture – exquisite! Seating is across individual booths, no round or square tables for groups. Pricing is moderate. Well recommended.
Ippudo is popular among ramen lovers so I decided to try their KL version. Good thing that I easily got a seat because it’s always full especially during lunch and dinner. Though it’s pricey based on serving size, I really enjoyed it. I also love their pork bun which is a good match to the ramen I ordered. It’s something worth coming back for.

We ordered the set with buns and salmon sashimi. That was definitely a correct decision. Cheaper. We enjoyed everything we ordered basically. The ramens of shiromaru motoaji and ippudo kuro were very nice.We ordered a lot yet we finished all since they were good.We also ordered lasagna gyoza and didn’t get impressed with the taste. So so.But the bun was really good, similar to one we tried in one of beach club in Bali. And the salmon sashimi was very fresh. Loved it.Price was 108 RM for 2 people, a bit expensive but definitely not a regret.
What can i say ? Ippudo in Malaysia was have a different taste from Indonesia. One bowl are consists of noodle itself, bean sprouts, mushroom, slice of pork and egg. It tastes more fresh than salty. I thought it has been adjusted to Malaysia tongue.
