Visited this Japanese restaurant several times. There was a pretty diverse array of Japanese foods on the menu, from authentic to contemporary range.The goods were pretty palatable and they were always delicately and artistically presented. The prices were of the high side based on the living standard in Kuala Lumpur. The atmosphere was fairly serene and cosy. The waiting staff were all quite friendly.Food & Beverage : 6/10Service : 7/10Price : 4/10Ambience : 7/10
The first impression when we came to the store was impressive. We were headed to our seat, after few moments later, we felt cold and ask for exchange seat, yet the waiter told us that the other tables were under reservation. Okay we were cool with it, but when after we done with our meal there are no one on those table that were said under reservation. Quite disappointed tho. But since we ordered too much dishes, we got to chance to combine two tables which was fine for us.There are something wrong when we ordered. So since the menu is full of japanese word that we don’t really know, we ordered a lot, but not all of our dishes came out, I need to keep reminding them that some of our dishes not yet come and can they help us to check it out. As for my meal, I’ve been asking like twice or thrice. So basically, the service was still quite not really satisfying. We enjoyed the food we ate to be honest. I just hope the service can be improved for the better future services.
The food quality totally does not worth the price at all. Visit the Kampachi restaurant for the first time with friend last Saturday. True, the service and ambience is good. However, all these does not matter when the food quality is poorer than average. My katsudon is so damp and soft, make me wondering did the katsu had a swim inside the soy sauce before served to me. The chicken of my friend oyakodon is not fresh and the ice lemon tea taste like plain water. The food does not up to the reputation at all. Will not try for second time or recommend friends or family to try as well. One word to summarize – disappointing!!!
Well located sushi at the pavilion KL mall, the place is worth trying for sure!!Fast service, friendly welcoming staff and delicious food! We tried their sushi, salad and maki! All were yummy, well presented and generous portions!
