This is located in Indian Street and is on the first floor of the building next to saravana bhavan. The place is a very low budget restaurant with very limited options. We opted for veg meals and chicken biryani. While the person who took chicken biryani was a happy soul. Others are not. Veg meals are a joke with literally nothing served in the leaf. There were 2 curry which were best untouched. They served sambar after multiple requests. Papad was the savior as without it would mean nothing that is edible. Rice served has massive amount of Soda added. Butter milk was good. Even if someone would pay me money to visit here, I wouldn’t. Stay away at all costs.
Last time when I had traveled to KL for work, I visited this restaurant with my colleagues for dinner. We had -1. South Indian Vegetarian Meal2. Chicken Pepper3. Chettinad ChickenThe staff took a long time to serve the South Indian Vegetarian Meal. I did not like the taste of Chicken Pepper and Chettinad Chicken at all.
The food here is really good. You should try their chettinadu chicken. Banana leaf meal is worth trying and the price is average too. It’s in between shop lots. You need to search for it well. Check on your parking too. If you are not planning to drive, you can always take a LRT to Masjid Jamek. It’s walking distance.
