Entered this place with apprehension by 2 vegetarian friends in the group but the experience surprised all 6 of us pleasantly. Tried multiple dishes – Hokkie Mee, Chsr Kway Tweo, etc and all of them were quite good. Highly recommended if you are in China Town
The Fried Hokkien Mee is actually just average, we ordered a 福米面 which means the combination of bee hoon and noodle which should be quite dry, but turn out the whole dish is wet and too many crispy fried lard is put into the dish but yet still no fragrant smell. The service is very bad the waiter and waitress give us a boring face when taking our order and serving our food.Food 2/5Ambience 3/5Service 1/5Value 2/5

This place opened at 11 am today. We had brunch upstairs at the air conditioned dining room. Eating downstairs maybe more authentic but it’s warm and humid. we had the famous Hokkian mee, pork soup mee, and roast pork with rice. Quite nice but nothing special. We had the water chestnut sago for dessert.
