Original buffet dinner price is RM138/person. We got ours from Fave for only RM78/person. I would say theres not really much food choice for RM78/138. The food taste was mostly okay, theres bbq, sushi and mostly asian cuisine.The bbq squid i had was bland and needs a little more cooking. Salmon was nice with mushroom+black pepper sauce. Chicken satay is nice. Dad said the beef satay is dry and tough. I tried the lok lok but you have to stand there long because the water is not boiling. It’s not like those lok lok cart lots of choice so don’t expect much.It looks like many choice of food but for me when i start taking it’s not that much choice.Service is good, dirty plates are constantly cleaned. One thing i dislike coming to Federal Hotel is they dont have their own parking, you’ll have to park in Lowyat then walk across. I have nothing against walking but when you are in 5inch heels then yes. From what i observe theres only valet parking but no idea how to enter.It’s okay to pay RM78 for this but not something i will do again. Honestly speaking theres too many buffet around with better pricing. Not exactly similar stuff but buffet (korean buffet, seafood buffet etc)

Kontiki is a restaurant that provide dining at the poolside, and it’s located in Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, a hotel that is set in the Central Business District along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Apart from poolside dining, Kontiki has a very delightful ambience which makes it a great option to have a weekend’s dine, especially in conjunction with celebrations such as Mother’s Day 🙂
