We rounded up our family for a weekend morning dumpling feast and gallons of Pu erh tea. Dim Sum buffet@78nett, steamed fresh to order by industriously working chefs. Pork ribs are cooked down into soft yielding pieces of meat. We ❤️ the bamboo steamers that houses doughy parcels of happiness like generously stuffed Har Gow and Siu Mai + dishes of silky pork cheong fun. There are no trolley, so you order of the Ala carte or buffet menu. If you’re not a native Cantonese speaker, the menu is in English as well. Service: We had undivided attention from most staffs. Empty plates and steamer baskets were cleared pronto and all the while, we’re kept topped up with pots of scalding hot tea.

We had the double boiled yam and herbal (angelica) broth which was rich and tasty; burst with the flavours of angelica (dong quai). Additional of seafood into the broth enhanced the sweetness of the broth and filled of essence from the sea. It was really delicious and couldn’t stop myself for more helpings of the soup.

This little gem offers some of the best dim sum you will find in town, and being in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with the plethora of Chinese restaurants round the corner, this is no simple task. As all traditional dim sum aficionados know, the only way to test the skill of a dim sum chef is to taste one of their basics, their har gow, (蝦餃, prawn dumplings), and siu mai (燒賣, pork dumplings)
