This spot transports you to old KL – even though everything around you seems to be changing quickly, you can imagine this old coffee shop being the same in the last few decades. This is definitely the best place for try the old food in KL. Really delicious, simple food in a no frills environment.

Growing up in Cheras, my parents never fail to bring me and my siblings out to the city for scrumptious breakfast, lunch, and dinner every weekend. I can say I grew up eating prawn wanton&dumpling noodles from this stall! This store once located at Jalan Alor Star has shifted to Imbi and their recipes remain the same !! The prawn wantons and dumplings are wrapped nicely , not too thick nor too thin ! The noodle soup was really good too ! You can choose any type of noodle you like but for the best pair I recommend the ho fun because the texture is smooth ! You can order dry or with soup, my dad loves their dry noodle (ho fun) as well ! My grandma loves their curry laksa , although its not my favourite but their laksa is very special because its not those typical curry laksa from any other stalls. You can try their steamed chicken too ! Its smooth and fragrant ! I could have rate it 4.5 but I did not because the service speed has dropped from fast to slightly slow due to the age of the owner/chefs so you got to wake up pretty early during the weekend to get a regular service speed unless you dont mind waiting !

I was brought here by a dear mate of mine. We just arrived a few hours prior and was craving for particularly anything. Since I know so little about the city, this place is pretty secluded and quiet (at least at that time hehee). The auntie greeted my friend, and asked what we would like to order. I was aghast as I was not really familiar at what is good, but then we went for Bee Hun, Wonton, Curry Mee, Sui Kow, and of course the delicious Ipoh Hor Fun. I did not regret anything. And as a number one fan of chili peppers and condiments, the garlic chili sauce was absolutely divine!

This unassuming place had a small sign that branded it as the best Ipoh Hor Fun. It was very affordable, too soo it did not hurt to try.Wow, was this very awesome! Indeed one of the tastiest soups I have ever tried. My only regret was not having ordered enough. When in KL, this is a must visit. This would get a perfect score if not for a better ambiance.
