Our friends took us here as their no1 place to enjoy afternoon tea in KL and we were not disappointed. The Ritz-Carlton has recently been refurbished and the setting whilst pleasant is a little too open for my liking and does not create the intimacy you may like whilst enjoying tea and discussion with your friends, this would be my only criticism of the venue.The selection of teas was huge and the food was of both good quality, but also the right amount. Before long we were served our tea and the stand was brought out with a selection of patisserie, sandwiches and quiche/pie before the scones were brought out later on. Tea was regularly topped up and service was attentive without being intrusive.I was amazed at the price of the afternoon tea at 80RM per person, this was excellent value and I would return without hesitation.
They have a large selection of tea and took awhile before I managed to choose one. The food is excellent, I managed to finish everything to the last bite. The staffs are very attentive, they will check on you and make sure your cup don’t stay empty long. Always coming over to fill up my tea cup and add more water and extra tea leaves round two! There’s live music opposite the chandelier. Seating are plush. Overall I enjoyed high tea here.

Nevertheless the experience in overall was great with warm hospitality by most of the service staffs. Scones with clotted cream and jam is to die for. Hot savories were unpleasant somehow but the selection of tea was wonderful and it’s free flow!
Best afternoon tea place in town! Love their desserts and there are many choice of tea can be chosen. Service is superb and teas are refillable. Waiters are always alert on our drinks and will refill for us without calling for them. Relaxing as well due to environment and harp.
