Unlimited yingyong tea is the best but sometimes the service is to slow you wait for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes for your food on peak hours and for non peak hours you wait 20 minutues.
Restaurant was packed, so I was wondering what the fuss was and decided to come in and try. Looking at the menu, it appears to be a sort of Hong Kong style cha chaan teng with Malaysian influence. I ordered the Sang Har (big prawns) mee with ginger and shallots. Tasted a bit ordinary and disappointing. Certainly not up to the Sang Har mee standards of other restaurants in kl. But maybe their other dishes are better. Next time will try again.
I ordered the Stephen Chow BBQ Pork Rice – I wasn’t expecting something hilarious to be served but food named after the iconic comedian from Hong Kong does arouse curiosity. And so the food arrived, one might thought this had to be a lame joke or something but it isn’t – that’s just one side of the dish.
