Tonight we were having dinner on 7.30 pm at this restaurant. When we were visiting, this restaurant still kinda crowded. We are ordering several menu. The things that we are order are :1. Drunken ChickenThe chicken was served cold with rice wine sauce and the portion itself was big enough for 2 person. The taste of rice wine sauce was kinda bitter with strong taste of alcohol. In my opinion, this food taste better if you pour the soy sauce on the chicken before ate it.Unfortunately, several pieces of the chicken was kinda smelly.2. Roasted Pork BellyThe portion of roasted pork belly was big enough for 2 person. I’m not fond of fatty pork belly, and fortunately the pork belly that served here wasn’t too fatty.Dipping sauce itself was kinda spicy, but there is hint of sour taste in the same time.Roasted pork belly itself was kinda crispy. But unfortunately the meat was kinda smelly although the smell wasn’t too strong so it wasn’t really bother.3. Stir Fried CabbageVegetables are fresh and the taste is also not bad. Recommended if you are fond of cabbage.4. Nuo Mi Fragrant TeaThe manager recommended this tea and it turns out that the tea was really good. I love the smell of tea and the taste is also good. All of the waiter and waitress are responsive and friendly. Unfortunately i think this restaurant charge too much for the service. It’s not my very first time had lunch or dinner in KL. And in my hometown, i also visited restaurant at leaste once a week. But it’s my very first time to find a restaurant which charge 10% service charge and 6% service tax. I wonder if the regulation in Malaysia has changed already because i had visited several restaurant on my last visit to Kuala Lumpur in December 2017 and they didn’t charge service charge and service tax at the same time.
If you are craving dim sum between 3-6pm it’s an ok place to stop because their plates at this time are priced between 4-7rm. Food it’s just ok, nothing espectacular, service is slow even if restaurant is half empty.
