Ordered the jajjangmyeon and bibimbap and they were below my expectation. Both of the dishes was quite salty and oily. Maybe I should try their signature topokki on my next visit.
My wife and I came to this outlet at 6:40pm and found most of the table were reserved for buka puasa except for one. I sat there and let my wife stay in line to order. When it was her turn, the boy at the counter asked whether she has a table and she said yes. He insisted that there is no table available. She insisted there is a table and that I am sitting there. He again said it might be reserved. After I went to the counter and insisted it’s not reserved he agreed.We felt as if we were not welcomed and the way the boy asked us was rude. Moreover he kept insisting that all the tables are reserved. We asked him whether he thinks we are lying and he kept quiet.My wife wanted to just walk away from the great hospitality but I convinced her to order and eat.The food was ok and reasonable. The portion was good for the price. Nothing to shout out about actually.Not sure if I’m gonna visit them again after this. Gonna hang out in other Korean restaurant.
Myeongdong topokki in sunway putra mall always closed. I have been there for second time to hunt the food but the restaurant was closed. Luckily when i went there for third time, it was open and the queues are long. 30 mins to get my food. But its worth it because the food is delicious. The staff is also nice.
I’m pretty disappointed by the size of the large topokki. It’s so small! Large portiBulgogi rice is nice but the soup that comes along with the set is terrible.
second times visiting here and it never disappoints me! i ordered rabokki so it’s quite spicy for those you can’t stand spiciness. the ramyeon is 10/10
