My favorite coffee place downstairs our office in KL. This place serves good bread, coffee and meals. They serve full bodied brews that would keep you awake during long stretches of the workday. They bake their own bread so its always fresh for partaking. The plated meals are also quite good. I like their grilled chicken meal, the flavor just jumps out of the poultry. The dining and kitchen staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs of their clients.
On weekdays, this area Damansara Heights is a bustling districts with alot of office tower around the area. However I recently discover a hidden gem in this area as this newly establish cafe Delirium which is another new concept by Antipodean, sits at Ground Floor of Menara Menulife. Its a simple and bright cafe with a lot of direct lights from the high ceiling make this area looks huge and very comfortable.
Visited this little hidden brunch spot on Menara Manulife, Damansara Heights just a day ago with a friend. We expected quite high looking at some previous reviews (and pretty pictures) on instagram.Hence we came around 11 am to get their breakfast dishes because it is only available until 11.30 am on weekdays (but on weekend they serve it until 3 pm). I ordered Scrambled Egg, Roast Pumpkin and Feta on Rocket, on Toast. And my friend ordered Stack of Corn Fritters with Spicy Chicken and Watercress + Poached Egg. I think they should find shorter names for all their menus, seriously lol. Since the weather was hot yesterday, we decided not to order coffee but Banana and Avocado milkshakes. The dishes came out fast. But I am sorry to say that they did not meet our expectation. It was nice, but just nice. Nothing was really special. And it was kinda disappointing that the poached egg was not half-cooked. The yolk was not melted. But the scrambled egg was great. Fluffy yet juicy because it is not fully cooked. I think that was the best thing on the dishes. The milkshakes were okay. Not too sweet yet not too thick. But I think their coffee are better looking at other reviews. On a nutshell, it is such a nice place for having brunch with friends or family. Nevertheless, just do not expect too high. But they got pretty plates tho.
