Goood combination on set menu. Especially luv to eat variety taste of kimchi. Dae Sa Kwan owner have other nangmyeon (Korea cold noodle) restaurant in opposite side which product noodle on timely. Hence noodle with beef or pork menu also fantastic and fresh. Highly recommend.
It’s a great place for dinner. Their set menus are very appetising and provide plenty of refillable side dishes that can satisfy your hunger on the worst of days! A must go in the area!
Delightful array of a plethora of refillable side dishes ranging from two types of kimchi to even vegetable tempura. Customers are served with an authentic sauce platter of garlic, oil and korean chilli sauce. Would highly recommend their bbq dishes. The bbq dishes are cooked outside because the inside of the restaurant does not have smoke chutes. However, the restaurant does have an electronic heating plate for hot soup or plate dishes that do not require smoking or much cooking to be served. Other dishes like the tofu hot stew were alright as well. The lady boss or manager was highly attentive and it was a very satisfying meal. The chef specialty dish of kimchi pancake was rather ordinary; and I would not recommend ordering the spicy rice cake.
Some very authentic Korean food in Desa Sri Hartamas puts this little enclave of food haven a must visit for korean food lovers. Dae Sa Kwan korean BBQ caters to plenty of korean expatriates you’d feel like you are actually in Korea when dining in the restaurant. Come nightfall, flocks of diners flood into the tiny restaurant and you can easily score some crazy good and fresh BBQ meats.
