I live nearby Fat Spoon for years and never went in. I did hear so many good reviews about the restaurant over the years. One of my friends told me the food quality and taste has dropped tremendously. “If you wanted to eat here, you probably should 5 years ago”I was in Hartamas for a few days and I saw Mei By Fat Spoon. Thought I would give it a try because the place looks so cute from the outside! Really friendly staff. Immediately felt so at home when I stepped into the restaurant. I had their Lemongrass Chicken Poppers rice bowl and it was delicious. The chicken was moist, I love the dip that came with it. The slaw was refreshing. Though the Miso was a little disappointing but it was a very yummy lunch. They do not have this dish at Fat Spoon, I WISH THEY DID! I will visit again 🙂
Today, our order was to go. I ordered the mentai omelette rice bowl, soy chicken rice bowl, Summer Bara Chirashi rice bowl and a side of lemongrass chicken popper. As told by my sister and mom, the summer and soy chicken rice bowl tasted good! But the omelette was a bit too thin in my opinion. Apparently, the payment gateway was causing some inconvenience when I ordered through their website and when I called them about this issue? This lady by the name of Michelle was kind enough to take my order manually and have it delivered to me. A+ for their service!! If not I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to have their food for lunch 🙁

The beef tastes soooo good. It was cooked perfectly. So juicy! The ambience is also great and not packed. So i can enjoy my food in peace. Would definitely come again for the juicy moo moo beef l
