Out of sudden saw this restaurant in Tomato and decided to give it a try. Not bad as the food and price is reasonable. There is something extra here you will find is the taste of the older days, as most of the customer you will find with age..
They practically have most of the popular Hakka Dishes – Vinegar pork trotter (zhu kiok suen), yellow rice wine chicken (wong chao kai), vegetables stuffed with fish paste (yong tau foo), braised pork with black fungus (zha yuk), braised pork with yam (wu tao kao yuk). I visit this place very often as a kid – as I’m a native Hakka, so our family’s choice of everyday food is typically Hakka food. As much as I enjoy every other cuisine, Hakka food is comfort food.
