Cosy place. Clean environment. Variety of Malaysian cuisine such as masak lemak cili api, asam pedas, laksa, sup daging, rojak, abc, etc. They also serve malaysian kuih. Besides lunch & dinner, they also cater for event, party, even wedding.
Rebung is one of KL’s best Restaurants. The seemingly endless buffet spread is splendid, with all kinds of dishes that you’d typically only be served in a Malay home. Herbs grown on the terrace are used in the recipes.
Love the authentic malay concept! The food and the ambience. This is where you found delicious ‘kampung’ food, if you are a fan, you will salivate when you see the food. They served it buffet style during lunch. It‘s worth it because every dish is fulfilling. Tips on having lunch here is to try all the dish but go easy on the rice. Nasi ulam is soo good, but gulai tempoyak is not the best i had taste. They serve traditional porridge and desserts to give some sweetness to your palates after some spicy heat. They have the most delicious dodol! The downside is they didn’t inform me that buffet ends at 4pm during my reservation. So we a bit rush to try out the food because we came in a little bit late to avoid office lunch hour crowd. But i definitely come back for some authentic Malay cuisines.
