Lime Green Tea – tried this with 50% sugar. Tasted like Ai Yu Bing. Pretty good but would’ve preferred a stronger lime taste. The golden bubble is insanely good, best bubble I’ve had so far. RecommendedProblem with this outlet is if there are slightly more people ordering the wait time is overly long. Needs improvement. Staff are friendly though.

This one was my favourite bubble tea in Indonesia, so I wanna try whether the taste will be different here. I bought golden bubble milk tea. It was really sweet and refreshing. The bubble was really tasty, soft and chewy. Unfortunately the venue was not too big, the seats was always full, but luckily I could get the seats, and the serving was really fast.

Really love the golden bubble milk tea, the bubble was really tasty and not too hard to chew, and the milk tea was so sweet and refreshing. The venue is not too big, the seats was always full. Luckily the serving was fast so we didn’t have to wait for long time.

Photos in blog. Koi Thé (from here on referred to as Koi) is a popular international chain which I had heard good things about and so I had bookmarked it as the store to try while I was in Malaysia. I was fortunate in that I found myself at KLCC one day and when I was searching their directory for what bubble tea stores were available, Koi was one of them. The KLCC store is quite compact though there is some sitting space. I was tossing up between picking their Milk Tea and their Yakult Green Tea. In the end, I chose the latter as it was second on their recommended drinks (brown sugar pearl milk tea was first) and I postulated that the Yakult would play a similar role to milk. I also thought that given it would be a long while before my next visit to Koi, I should pick something more unique to them (in hindsight this was probably a reason to try something standard that would be more easily comparable).

Very good bubble tea/milk tea place in heart of KL! stayed in the Bukit Bintang region as a visitor to KL for about 5 days. I was recommended by my cousin (a local) to try The KOI. Between my family, we had the Ovaltine Milk Tea with Pearls, Golden Bubble Milk Tea and the Green Tea Macchiato. Out of the 3, the Green Tea Macchiato was my favourite. We were told not to drink it with a straw but instead just drink it like how one would with coffee. The matcha flavour is quite strong but not overpowering and it blended really well with the milk foam or whatever the white thing was. I was really surprised since I didn’t usually like visible milk foam things in my bubble teas. I would definitely recommend to try the Green Tea Matcha Macchiato or if you don’t like Matcha then just any other Macchiato!
