A good restaurant serving traditional South Korean cuisine. The ambience is good and I loved the service (thanks to Mohd Abdulla for explaining the dishes in detail and helping me make selection). I should say this is my first time to a typical Korean restaurant and I enjoyed the food. I started off with Jan Chae – Pan fried Korean glass noodles with assorted vegetable and mushroom. This dish comes in a pretty large serving and best to ask for half the quantity. The glass noodles was cooked to perfection, soft and juicy. For the main course, Kim Chi Jji Gae – Spicy vegetable kimchi soup served with Korean side dishes and rice is an excellent dish. The Kimchi soup is quite spicy and has glass noodles, cabbage and mushroom. The side dishes were just perfect.
Hello Korean food lovers! Since I love korean food, I choose a korean restaurant for my dinner. Located besides Chakri Palace on the 4th floor of KLCC, Koryo-Won offers you a premium restaurant with BBQ menu as their signature dish. I did not try the BBQ since I don’t like meat. Here are the menus we ordered:1. Sundubu chi gye set : seafood soup with kimchi. Sweet, sour, and spicy soup. I love this soup ever since I tried it. Â The portion is big enough for 2-3 people. You will get the soup, rice, and many side dishes.2. Bibimbap : the bibimbap tasted nice, but the sauce was not as tasty as the one in Seoul or Indonesia. However, the bean taste was good3. Â Sweet sour pork rice : the prok was tender and tasted nice. Enough for 1 person.Overall, the place was big enough. The concept of premium Korean resto with quiet affordable price seems okay for me. Maybe next time I will try the BBQ.IG: JESSICA_SISYWEB: MYCULINARYDIARYCOM.WORDPRESS.COM
