I came to this restaurant in the morning – expected to have a Nasi Kandar. But some of the foods were not ready, so I had to wait.Luckily one hour passed, and I got my Nasi Kandar – with red fried chicken, that crispy outside, and then salted egg, lots of gravy and hot rice. Very fulfilling and tasty!
I’m just gonna list down what I like ok? The fried chicken is awesome. The fish head curry, also awesome, the fish was fresh, and the curry tasted great. The squid egg curry, really nice. We went a bit late, and the ran out of white rice, so they gave us this ghee rice, I think? Not sure what it was, but it was the bomb. Oohh and the mee goreng mamak! They put potatoes and squids in it and it’s kinda spicy and it was awesome!So yeah, I pretty much like everything in there. We sat right next to the serving area, so it was noisy af cos they were shouting and stuff. Really busy place, my brother said it’s usually even more crowded, but we went late, and it was raya haji season so KL was pretty empty. Definitely going back some time later.

The reason why its nice in penang is because of the environment, that feeling that you get. The mamak in penang has skills and super fast. Kampung baru, slow like crazy, blur, and just plain boring. Sorry but i’d rather drive to Penang then go here.
