Decent high tea with secret garden view.Since it was my first high tea experience, I had little to expect. Easy to say, I was impressed when the food arrived in a cute white drawer with a decent selection of sweet and savory pastries/appetizers. But one can’t help to notice that they had more ‘cheap stuff’ such as scones and sponge cakes served as opposed to more high end pastries like macaroons. (Heh guess they had to save costs somewhere right?) Because of that I was rather uncomfortable to portion out the food or eat with ease of mind.Keep in mind the small portions if you are planning to go in a group of more than 3 to share one drawer set. The food was so little that we had to order 2 more pieces of cake to satisfy our appetite. Those cakes however were top notch in terms of taste and looks.
I came here with my colleagues for lunch. They got the buffet while i chose ala carte of tagliatelle carbonara. The order took too long to arrive almoat 30 mins. The padta was delicious but the sauce was too rich at some point. But portions were generous. I should have jusr got the buffet. At first the menu didnt look that attractive to me but then with the price it was not bad.
My second time to have afternoon tea at one six five ☺️my first time of visitation was good but for my second time of visit was not too good as waitresses were not attentive as I asked for many times only they came to me when I needed. But overall I love their afternoon tea especially latest one which is secret garden afternoon tea. Very nice desserts and pastries ☺️still one of my top 3 of afternoon tea at hotels around kl areas regardless of their service.
Great service, perfect ambience and opulent decor. This bar is located inside InterContinental Hotel, right towards the entrance of the lobby. Being an open area you don’t get much privacy here but there’s enough seating for one to get away from the crowds. Not a good value when it comes to prices but then again you’re at InterContinental and paying for the ambience.
