For an Arabic restaurant, their Arabic food is awful. Beverages are alright and the shisha is good. Only drawback is the food. The shwarma is one of the worst I’ve had.
Food is more than decent. Have never been disappointed in the several times I’ve come here. Not the cheapest like Sawarbina (which has closed down btw) but the food is good for the price. The shisha is well-made here too. My only gripe is if you had to sit outside – and you do if you are having shisha – it’s terribly hot unless the air cooler is blowing right at you.
I went to The Castle with my colleague, 9 people (2 man, 7 woman) in total. We try this Walyma Kabsa Chicken (RM148). They serve using the big plate where you can share together. For girls who don’t really eat much can share up to 10 people. For guy usually they eat more than girls matbe can share 5 to 6 people. For this dish alone i think the price is reasonable. But the rest I think quite pricey. For kebab, as shown in picture, that much cost you RM22. The environment is really nice. Not really the best arabian food I ever eat but surely one of the best.
My first visit here tonight for dinner. Had falafel, hummus, fattoush saladand chicken shawarma with freshly baked hot breads. Loved the taste. Shawarma was real good with a very crip covering. Falafels were good, not too dry like u get in many other arabic restaurats. But the highlight was the fattoush salad, actually its dressing- sweet and tangy, crips veggies and crunchy bread totally yummy! Will definitely goback to try other items.
Favourite place for Arab food. Tried most of the menu, really good, especially the mandy lamb/chicken and maqlubah lamb. The mixed kebab platter is awesome & the shawarma is nice too. There is also a very nice view of klcc at the back. Service is Ok, atmosphere is quite nice if you don’t mind the shisha.
