There weren’t many choices. Most of them are in platters. The crystal platter is really worth it. Big fresh and good quality seafood. I love the oyster, very thick and creamy. You can’t order a specific dish. Sizzling platter was okay. Too much spicy mayo sauce. It was very very oily. I didn’t like the sliced beef with spring onions skewers. The beef slices were delicious but the spring onions overpowered it. Matcha ice cream was good, served with red bean paste. Avoid the chocolate ice cream because it taste like tube ice creams you get from the supermarket. The service was very very slow. Birthdays in August get to eat free 7 days before and after your birthday date. Plus, merdeka babies enjoy 2 bottles of sake for free. Sake was not bad. Best to drink it warm.
Came here for lunch with my dad. Firstly I must say the staff are not friendly and their attitude don’t fit for a Japanese restaurant especially a jap restaurant in KLCC. The team leader/duty manager herself is rather rude and grumpier than her team members. Anyway, the food are ok.. The sashimi and oyster is certainly fresh. The cha wan mushi served in egg shell is somehow creative yet lack of the wow factor in taste. It is still a humble cha wan mushi. The salad with salmon skin is average. If you are not concerned about low vegetable intake during the meal, you may skip this. The soft shell crab roll is yummy. Thanks dad for ordering the soba which gives a balanced and refreshing palate to the whole meal. I don’t think I will be back cosidering there are so many japanese restaurant out there in kl for exploration.
